I'm not sure about all of you but I know that I'm not really that knowledgeable when it comes to random facts. I do horribly trying to play along with Jeopardy -- or any other game show for that matter. Luckily for me though, my girlfriend is just chalk full of random information, actually it drives me crazy. Well thanks to 3000 Awesome Facts I too can have a random knowledge database waiting at my disposal so I can look at cool and smart.3000 Awesome Facts is a simple application that is rather perfectly rendered. There are no fancy splash screens, nothing to navigate through, you just open the application and start reading all there is to know about random things on (or off) this planet. The background is black, which makes for easy viewing in harsh lighting, and the text is large and white making it extremely easy to read. To move on to the next fact simply tap anywhere on the screen or you can even scroll up.
There is also talk about future updates offering the ability to search for a specific word, or even send the fact to a friend. With more fun facts coming (and the developer promises all updates will be free) and already 3000 to choose from I see no reason not to pick up this app, it's only $0.99. Use it for a quick laugh, seem smarter at parties, or even as an ice breaker with a cute girl.
